New York Times Article Features MC1 Tyler Thompson, USN
Dear USNPAA Members,
When discussing the talent in the Navy’s public affairs community, often overlooked are the talented enlisted and civilian communicators who help tell the Navy’s story to our shareholders. A perfect example of of the extraordinary professionalism found in our community is documented in a recent New York Times story about one of the Navy’s Mass Communications Specialists, MC1 Tyler Thompson. Thompson is assigned to the Navy Public Affairs Support Element East and photographed the Navy’s work in salvaging the Chinese balloon that was shot down off of South Carolina.
