The Passing of Donna-Grace Schwenter

Dear USNPAA Members,

It is with deep sadness that I inform you about the passing of Ms. Donna-Grace Schwenter. Donna-Grace passed away peacefully on June 13th in Michigan with members of her family by her side.

Donna-Grace not only served in CHINFO as a civilian but was also a Naval reservist and part of OI DET 813 in Southfield, Michigan. As she did in CHINFO, Donna-Grace won many hearts with her ‘can do’ spirt and attitude. She also demonstrated her courage by surviving two major automobile crashes. She was in the Pentagon building when 9/11 occurred.

Those of us who knew and worked with Donna-Grace will always remember her as a kind and gentle individual—and the consummate professional. She was always willing to go above and beyond what was expected. Regardless of the crisis or the issue at hand, I will always associate her as a steady hand and ready to do her part to help solve the problem. Quite simply, she was a wonderful human being who leaves this earth far too quickly.

No other details are available at this time.
