The Passing of Ms. Jo Ann Taylor
Dear USNPAA Colleagues:
I’m very saddened to report the recent passing of another long-time pillar of the Public Affairs Community—Ms. Jo Ann Taylor.
Those of us who have a bit more longevity in the community will remember Jo Ann for her work in the detailer’s office. Once she met you or even talked to you on the phone for the first time, she knew you and always remembered you. She was an incredible human being—warm, kind and giving. If you were a PAO, Jo Ann touched you and your family and played a role in your assignments. Jo Ann and her personality were the perfect fit for work in the detailer’s office where she served for 18 years.
She was named the recipient of the Norma B. Connelly Award for her outstanding service in 2010.
Please keep Jo Ann and her family in your thoughts.
