The Passing of CAPT Sterling Nichols, USN (Ret)
Dear USNPAA Members,
It is with great sadness that I forward the following email from USNPAA Life member CDR Rudy Brewington concerning the passing of CAPT Sterling Nichols.
"Fellow PAOs (Active and Retired):
It is with great pain - as I knew him well - to announce the passing of CAPT/Dr. Sterling Nichols who lost his fight with prostate cancer, at his daughter's home in Boston, MA, Sunday, May 19, 2024.
CAPT Nichols was well-known in our community and beloved by former OI Det 206 unit members where he served as Commanding Officer and at many other Reserve Public Affairs Units.
Please extend prayers for his family.
This has been a devastating time for our community recently so it's imperative we stay in communications with each other.

I've asked Rudy to forward and information concerning funeral arrangement so that I can pass that information to you.
