The Passing of CDR Tim Mennuti, USN (Ret.)
Dear USNPAA Members,
I am very saddened to report the passing of Commander Tim Mennuti. Tim was a proud member of the public affairs community and served on active duty for 22 years. He retired from the Navy in 1986.
After retiring he began his second career as an educator in the Anne Arundel County (Annapolis, Maryland) school system. Tim taught a variety of subjects before being elected as the president of the teachers association in the county. He served in this position until 2012. Tim was deeply committed to education and loved to talk about his involvement in it. Tim was also very involved in a variety of community and civic organizations in the Annapolis area.
Tim is survived by his wife, Mary Ann, two sons and a daughter.
Please keep Tim’s family in your thoughts as he rests in peace.
