Norma B. Connelly Public Affairs Service Awards
USNPAAA and the Navy Chief of Information (CHINFO) established the Norma B. Connelly Public Affairs Service Award in 2008 to recognize individuals who have given extraordinary service to Navy Public Affairs.
The award is named after Norma Connelly, who served in the Navy Office of Information for 22 years, including extraordinary service as the Navy Chief of Information’s personal executive secretary from September 1978 to July 2000.
