New Reunion Banquet Speaker
FINAL Reunion Registration Deadlines on August 8 and 17
Dear USNPAA Members,
Planning to attend USNPAA Reunion 2023 in Arlington, VA, but you haven’t registered? Reunion registration forms and payment by check must be received by Dick Thompson no later than August 17. Considering the unpredictability of snail mail, you need to send in your registration form and check today. After August 17, no registration forms will be accepted, and no refunds will be given because we have to meet hotel and Army Navy Country Club (ANCC) guarantee deadlines. If you need a registration form, click here to link to the form.
If you plan to book a room at the Hilton Garden Inn Arlington/Shirlington at our reduced rate, the cutoff date is August 8. USNPAA’s special rate is $159 (plus tax) for a King bed and $179 (plus tax) for two Queen beds. Book your room now as any reservations made after August 8 will be made at the prevailing daily rate based on availability.
On Friday, September 8, the reunion begins with a Welcome Reception and Dinner at Army Navy Country Club which includes a rooftop reception, three-course dinner, and presentation of USNPAA awards. We look forward to welcoming our keynote speaker, RADM Samuel Cox, USN (Ret.), who will tell us about the exciting plans to build a “National Museum of the US Navy” in Washington, DC. On April 13, 2023, Secretary of the Navy Carlos Del Toro unveiled the conceptual drawings for this museum. As Director of the Navy History and Heritage Command, RADM Cox is responsible for the program office overseeing the planning of the new National Museum of the US Navy as well as 10 other US Navy museums. Our keynote speaker changed due to RADM John Kirby’s anticipated official travel in September.
All activities and events on Saturday, September 9, will be held at the Hilton Garden Inn, beginning with our Business Meeting and Lunch. Following the lunch there will be a USNPAA Board Members Meeting. In the evening we will wrap up our reunion with hors d’oeuvres and drinks at a Farewell Reception.
Don’t miss this terrific opportunity to reconnect with old friends and meet new USNPAA members!
Sincerely,
Tom Jurkowsky
President
