DINFOS Hall of Fame USNPAA Inductees
Dear USNPAA Members,
DINFOS is honored to induct two new members into its Hall of Fame this Wednesday, 7 August—retired Navy Master Chief Petty Officer Joe Ciokon and Mr. David Albritton. Joe will be inducted posthumously. He passed away in 2021. From his beginnings as a paperboy in St. Louis to his distinguished 30-year Navy career, Joe Ciokon exemplified dedication to journalism and service. He was known for being instrumental in covering critical historical events. Following his Navy retirement, he had a second career serving several positions with Commander, Naval Air Forces, U.S. Pacific Fleet.
David served as a public affairs officer for several years before beginning his civilian career where he established his own firm specializing in executive coaching, leadership development and organizational management. He served as president of the USNPAA before relinquishing the reins because of health issues involving his family.
